FOR THE K2 PLUS ONLY

I desiged this base unit with an anti-vibration feature, as I was having problems when printing at high speed and using Gyroid for infill.

I worked out that 4x pads of 10mm of TPU 95A is able to take the weight of the K2 Plus + CFS and Space PI XL. I have also incorparated a pad on the bottom of the corner pieces as well as the pad in the top, were the K2 Plus foot seats.

When I did a test, there was a good reduction in vibration on the bench.

This base unit is fixed together with printed screws and I have added a printed drive socket that fits the splined head of screws and a 6mm Allen key fits.

I suggest that you run the scews in the threads before assembly, also use a de-burring tool on the threaded holes just to relieve the fine edges.

Please stick to 3MF files as I know work. All parts are PLA except for the TPU pads. I did print the TPU parts on my SparkX I7, its just easier for my set up, rather that fixing all the external spools etc on the K2 plus. So the 3MF files are for SarkX I7, this can soon be changed to which ever printer you are using.

The Draw unit needs a brim, as it gets printed in the vertical position.

Please use clean build plates and stick glue this does help.
